Jean Hamruche's late challenge caught a Flatwoods AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Riverview was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelkader Hamruche to maneuver through the defense. Salim Madouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Abdelkader Hamruche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Riverview's goalkeeper Bellemou Bouzid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salim Madouni. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Smail Abbas made a kick off. Jean Hamruche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Benhabiles having to interfere. Jean Hamruche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Halim Benhabiles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halim Benhabiles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Smail Abbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
