In the 10th minute Rabah Amsallem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilles Aziz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abdulhamid Hamid Brahima fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hicksville AFC's protests and gave Abdulhamid Hamid Brahima a yellow card for diving instead. Mounir Baroudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Abderraouf Belhagj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rabah Amsallem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Hicksville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdulhamid Hamid Brahima. Hamburg AFC's Kassel Horr got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rabah Amsallem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Rabah Amsallem dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilles Aziz, 1-0. Kassel Horr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Aziz having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rabah Amsallem was the one to do the kick off. Gilles Aziz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kassel Horr in the 55th minute of play. Ali Djebar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Mohammed Zenia's late challenge caught a Hamburg AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Djebar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Aziz having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Abderraouf Zemmamouche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamburg AFC and the Hicksville AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abderraouf Zemmamouche hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Hicksville AFC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Hamburg AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hameur Sakhri took the corner. The audience was convinced that Kassel Horr's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilles Aziz was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Gilles Aziz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kassel Horr in the 84th minute of the match. Hocine Moll kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Kassel Horr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noureddine Hasni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gilles Aziz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabah Amsallem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Mourad Zéroual was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hicksville AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamburg AFC the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Hicksville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Zéroual to maneuver through the defense. Hamburg AFC's Rabah Amsallem got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Hamburg AFC were the better team. Hamburg AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
