Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mansour Merzekane started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mount Prospect FC's Djamel Meriem got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Hamid Bitat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansour Merzekane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mount Prospect FC's goalkeeper Karim Feraoun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Mount Prospect FC's goalkeeper Karim Feraoun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Almir Neves. Karim Feraoun was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Almir Neves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Almir Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Almir Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Neves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Karim Feraoun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th minute, Mourad Saïdi-Sief fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mourad Saïdi-Sief who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mount Prospect FC's Karim Feraoun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Almir Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mansour Merzekane hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Mourad Saïdi-Sief made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Mount Prospect FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mourad Saïdi-Sief who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mourad Saïdi-Sief almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mount Prospect FC's Karim Feraoun did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Saïdi-Sief in the 60th minute of play forced Mount Prospect FC's goalkeeper Karim Feraoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Mourad Saïdi-Sief managed to get in a good position for a shot. HAYK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mourad Saïdi-Sief was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Feraoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68thth minute of the game Almir Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mount Prospect FC's Karim Feraoun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The HAYK fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when HAYK's Almir Neves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mansour Merzekane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abderrachid Brahimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Bitat having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, HAYK's Almir Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karim Feraoun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mourad Saïdi-Sief sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madhi Sadmi lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mount Prospect FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! A sloppy throw-in by Hocine Morceli in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HAYK's Kateb Iles. If Almir Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. HAYK had played much better football throughout.
