Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amar Amrouche started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Mount Prospect FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mounir Zarabi hit a great ball. If Mansour Merzekane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Abderrachid Brahimi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Prospect FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ahmed Sadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansour Merzekane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Sadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abderrachid Brahimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mansour Merzekane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Hartford FC defense, Mansour Merzekane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmed Sadi. The Hartford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmed Sadi should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdellah Hadjadj during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmed Sadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansour Merzekane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karim Feraoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amar Amrouche in the 32nd minute of play. Mansour Merzekane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Sadi having to interfere. When Hartford FC's Amar Amrouche in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mount Prospect FC's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Mount Prospect FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mansour Merzekane to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mansour Madouni during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Hartford FC got a freekick which was hit by Mansour Madouni. Abderrachid Brahimi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Ahmed Sadi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Mansour Merzekane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmed Sadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansour Merzekane in the 59th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Hartford FC got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Djura. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amar Amrouche during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amar Amrouche hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Mount Prospect FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mounir Zarabi to maneuver through the defense. Abdellah Hadjadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Mount Prospect FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdellah Hadjadj came free, but Karim Feraoun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Djamel Meriem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hartford FC's Rachid Baba Ali Megharia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mount Prospect FC. 88 minutes into the game, Djamel Meriem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mount Prospect FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hartford FC the free kick. Amar Amrouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Karim Feraoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Karim Drioueche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hartford FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mount Prospect FC the free kick. Mount Prospect FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
