Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Redha Bouzid made the kick off and thus started the match. Abdellah Saadane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from François Baroudi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Ali Djenia Lkbira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Aarache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Djenia Lkbira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Aarache having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Covington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayeb Benmabrouk to maneuver through the defense. After 9 minutes, Ali Djenia Lkbira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edgemoor AFC and the Covington players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Djenia Lkbira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, one of Edgemoor AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edgemoor AFC. Rafik Macias walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Edgemoor AFC's Abdellah Saadane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by François Baroudi in the 18th minute of play. When Jussef Ben Benaouf fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edgemoor AFC's protests and gave Jussef Ben Benaouf a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Edgemoor AFC's Jussef Ben Benaouf got a free kick in the 19th minute. When François Baroudi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Covington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that François Baroudi couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Edgemoor AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jussef Ben Benaouf. 26 minutes into the match, Rafik Macias sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Abdellah Saadane threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Rafik Macias this time. If Redha Bouzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Edgemoor AFC's zone, Abdelhamid Reda Madouni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdellah Saadane came out of the goal and Abdelhamid Reda Madouni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdellah Saadane came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Covington's Abdelhamid Reda Madouni. But to his dismay, Abdelhamid Reda Madouni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and François Baroudi made a kick off. Ali Djenia Lkbira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Covington's goal looked a bit too open when Redha Bouzid came free, but Tayeb Aarache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Edgemoor AFC's Redha Bouzid ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tayeb Aarache. Tayeb Aarache yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Edgemoor AFC's goal looked a bit too open when François Baroudi came free, but Abdellah Saadane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute François Baroudi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdellah Saadane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Covington's Tayeb Aarache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Covington from getting a goal against them. Ali Djenia Lkbira struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tayeb Aarache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edgemoor AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rachid Soltani during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Edgemoor AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Soltani to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes of play, Covington's Abdelhamid Reda Madouni made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdellah Saadane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Redha Bouzid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tayeb Aarache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhamid Reda Madouni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Covington had won after a very even match.
