Ahmed Benbitour stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelaziz Merah's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Rachid Abdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medjadi Feraoun in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Karim Baroudi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monson AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cohoes the free kick. In the 25th minute, Karim Baroudi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Monson AFC defense, Hemza Bellemou Messaoud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmed Benbitour. The Monson AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmed Benbitour should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, Cohoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hemza Bellemou Messaoud to maneuver through the defense. Karim Baroudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Abdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medjadi Feraoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Medjadi Feraoun in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rachid Abdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abd el Zarabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play Monson AFC's Karim Baroudi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 54th match minute, Monson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Baroudi to maneuver through the defense. Medjadi Feraoun struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rachid Abdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monson AFC. Ahmed Benbitour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Arrache, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Medjadi Feraoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monson AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Medjadi Feraoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Abdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmed Benbitour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abd el Zarabi in the 75th minute of the match. Medjadi Feraoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Abdi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abd el Zarabi in the 82nd minute of play forced Monson AFC's goalkeeper Ahmed Benbitour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hemza Bellemou Messaoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Monson AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Ben Bendjedid. Medjadi Feraoun took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rachid Abdi. Rachid Abdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 94 minutes into the game, Rachid Chaib was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cohoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monson AFC the free kick. The supporters of Monson AFC booed when Cohoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Chaib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Medjadi Feraoun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Rachid Abdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Monson AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cohoes from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
