The audience thought a goal was coming when Yazid Kouidri got free with Abdel Bahari in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdel Bahari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benamar Assad in the 44th minute of play. Benamar Assad might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdel Bahari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
