Marino Smitmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salamón Talamilla kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Raymundo Balladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Deppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raymundo Balladares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marino Smitmans having to make a save. A collision led to Chara FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Enzo Paternost hit a great ball. Enzo Paternost's late challenge caught a Ancara AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Paternost helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chara FC's Enzo Paternost got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Albano Deppe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elías Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marino Smitmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymundo Balladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Juan Pablo Despouy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elías Casanova having to interfere. Juan Pablo Despouy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ancara AFC's Albano Deppe got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Raymundo Balladares made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Chara FC's Florinio Iturbe got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Pablo Despouy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elías Casanova. That made the score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Ancara AFC's Marino Smitmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selmo Ortuño in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Albano Deppe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Deppe got free with Elías Casanova in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Chara FC booed when Ancara AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandro Salah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymundo Balladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancara AFC's goalkeeper Marino Smitmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Dionisio Galdos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Salamón Talamilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marino Smitmans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
