Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Venetto FC's Vinicio Molina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Venetto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Peso to maneuver through the defense. Bayron Sarmiento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quim Ariza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Angelillo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelado Moscoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainerio Mascayano having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Misitune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Banderas to maneuver through the defense. If Abelado Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Misitune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sisebuto Aninat to maneuver through the defense. If Abelado Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rainerio Mascayano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Molina in the 42nd minute of the match. Nildo Leite hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Misitune's Marcelo Maack got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quim Ariza was the one to do the kick off. Vinicio Molina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelado Moscoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Rainerio Mascayano made a huge save. Bayron Sarmiento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Maack in the 58th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Vinicio Molina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Venetto FC's Abelado Moscoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rainerio Mascayano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Abelado Moscoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rainerio Mascayano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Misitune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elodio Morillo to maneuver through the defense. Alipio Cristi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Misitune's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abelado Moscoso was slow to take the kick. During this time Venetto FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Angelillo Cruz drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Misitune's goalkeeper. Venetto FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
