After 37 played minutes Zapiga got a freekick which was hit by Eladio Venezian. Zapiga's Eric Daudet got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Odilón Chamaca made a kick off. Paco Perochena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Laureano Ormachea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Daudet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Ormachea having to interfere. Carlos Saúl Parodi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odilón Chamaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demesio Mac Rostie having to interfere. Laureano Ormachea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Daudet in the 72nd minute of the match. If Odilón Chamaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Zapiga's goalkeeper Demesio Mac Rostie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Saúl Parodi. When Carlos Saúl Parodi fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caleu FC's protests and gave Carlos Saúl Parodi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zapiga booed when Caleu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Saúl Parodi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Daudet in the 86th minute of play forced Caleu FC's goalkeeper Laureano Ormachea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Zapiga's goalkeeper Demesio Mac Rostie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Saúl Parodi. Zapiga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caleu FC for a fine match.
