Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angelino Diena started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Lisboa in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Ibarbia saved Chelis from getting behind. Chelis's Haroldo Ibarbia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Lisboa in the 9th minute of play. Lázaro Basay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Diena, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Abraham Matiuzzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Haroldo Ibarbia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abraham Matiuzzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Diena in the 24th minute of play forced Chalinguita's goalkeeper Lázaro Basay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Heliodoro Demanet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Basay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Diena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Manguyague hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chalinguita booed when Chelis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Manguyague didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Chalinguita's Belmiro Cruzat broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Heliodoro Demanet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lázaro Basay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Lisboa made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Heliodoro Demanet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 56th minute Evaristo Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Ibarbia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Osvaldo Barbero fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chalinguita's protests and gave Osvaldo Barbero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Osvaldo Barbero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Angelino Diena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Baraquiel Ferraro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chalinguita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelis the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Chalinguita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baraquiel Ferraro to maneuver through the defense. When Angelino Diena got free in front of the goal in the 65th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Lázaro Basay was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Abraham Matiuzzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Luis Javier Monreal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Basay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Diena's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Angelino Diena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Basay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Heliodoro Demanet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chalinguita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
