Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eufemio Barth got the match started through his kick off. Oriol Mas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Fernando Armijo. Qquecalane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Laureano Catalá hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Cristofer Ornaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Orlando Comas in the 8th minute. After 10 minutes Ovalle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliverio Maira who took care of the corner kick. Qquecalane's Oliverio Maira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristofer Ornaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hermelando Vilches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Fernando Armijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Qquecalane got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Catalá. After 16 minutes Qquecalane's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julián Ensslin who took care of the corner kick. Bernardino Hormeño tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Juan Fernando Armijo. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 16th minute. When Ovalle's David Israel Cares in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Qquecalane's goalie prevented a goal. Cristofer Ornaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eufemio Barth in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, one of Qquecalane:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Qquecalane. Juan Fernando Armijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermelando Vilches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ovalle's Cristofer Ornaz got control of the ball when Hugo Orlando Comas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristofer Ornaz made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Hugo Orlando Comas sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Hermelando Vilches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Fernando Armijo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Ovalle were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Israel Cares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Qquecalane's Juan Fernando Armijo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Qquecalane from getting a goal against them. Hermelando Vilches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermelando Vilches got free with Juan Fernando Armijo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If David Israel Cares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tanausu Eyzaguirre hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hermelando Vilches struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Juan Fernando Armijo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ovalle. After a defensive mix-up in Ovalle's zone, Hugo Orlando Comas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristofer Ornaz came out of the goal and Hugo Orlando Comas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Orlando Comas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristofer Ornaz having to interfere.
