After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, David Israel Cares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovalle's supporters rose to their feet, but David Israel Cares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amato Daiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Arend charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Arend the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Altue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Arend to maneuver through the defense. Hermelando Vilches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Amato Daiber made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ovalle's zone, Ramón Adaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristofer Ornaz came out of the goal and Ramón Adaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute David Israel Cares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amato Daiber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermelando Vilches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Amato Daiber made a huge save. Ovalle's Cristofer Ornaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Unzueta in the 18th minute of play. When Ramón Adaro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Altue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Adaro couldn't finish the play. Cristofer Ornaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Unzueta in the 20th minute of play. David Israel Cares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Altue's Guillermo Arend got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Guillermo Arend off the ground. Guillermo Arend hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Eleuterio Unzueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ovalle's Cristofer Ornaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Altue getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lucio Humeres hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Ovalle got a freekick which was hit by David Israel Cares. Hermelando Vilchess short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Amato Daiber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 33 played minutes Ovalle got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Súnico. 39 minutes into the match, Ovalle's Hermelando Vilches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amato Daiber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hermelando Vilches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Israel Cares to make the kick off. Amato Daiber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Israel Cares in the 52nd minute of the match. Eleuterio Unzueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Israel Cares in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amato Daiber saved Altue from getting behind. Ovalle's Cristofer Ornaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ovalle from getting a goal against them. Eleuterio Unzueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristofer Ornaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Altue players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ovalle from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
