With splendid footwork Luis Alberto Fedeghelli arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 18th minute. If Calixto Badal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Roja's zone, Ignacio Ojeda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Barrios came out of the goal and Ignacio Ojeda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ignacio Ojeda came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pullingue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Ojeda couldn't finish the play. Pullingue FC's Emilio Felipe Nil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calixto Badal in the 36th minute of play. Estrella Roja's Emilio Barrios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Estrella Roja from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Estrella Roja booed when Pullingue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Alberto Berguño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Pullingue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Falabella to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Felipe Nil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Peebles, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Pullingue FC booed when Estrella Roja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Raposo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes, Pullingue FC's Rollo Sarratea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Barrios came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pullingue FC reached it.
