Livilcar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cholchol AFC the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Francisco Antonio Aguayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Fagalde's late challenge caught a Cholchol AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Fagalde helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Livilcar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Fagalde to maneuver through the defense. Amado Carrera succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Livilcar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Bünzli to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes in the game, Ramón Ansaldo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelillo Valdebenito having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cholchol AFC's Lois Jurado got a free kick in the 18th minute. Marcelino Raineri charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Raineri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Livilcar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Raineri to maneuver through the defense. Amado Carrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelillo Valdebenito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 26th play minutes Amado Carrera shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Angelillo Valdebenito and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Livilcar AFC's Moisés Amaya got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Gaston Delpín sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Angelillo Valdebenito threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gaston Delpín this time. Angelillo Valdebenito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Carrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rufino Mac Donald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Ramón Ansaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cholchol AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón Ansaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Amado Carrera fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Ramón Ansaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cholchol AFC booed when Livilcar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairon Santis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Máximo Salinas charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Máximo Salinas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Máximo Salinas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Cosme Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cholchol AFC's Rufino Mac Donald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 minutes, Ramón Ansaldo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Livilcar AFC's Angelillo Valdebenito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Navarro in the 66th minute of play forced Cholchol AFC's goalkeeper Rufino Mac Donald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Carrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelillo Valdebenito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Carrera ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Bünzli during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narciso Bünzli hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ramón Ansaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelillo Valdebenito having to interfere. Francisco Antonio Aguayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Livilcar AFC's Moisés Amaya got a free kick in the 78th minute. Livilcar AFC's Angelillo Valdebenito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Ansaldo in the 79th minute of play. Angelillo Valdebenito came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cholchol AFC's Amado Carrera. But to his dismay, Amado Carrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ramón Ansaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Angelillo Valdebenito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Carrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Ramón Ansaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Livilcar AFC's Angelillo Valdebenito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelillo Valdebenito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Ansaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Livilcar AFC's Paulín Tocornal got a free kick in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cholchol AFC fully deserved thier win.
