With his leg Omar Peluchonneau managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Renaico FC's Xosé Lattapiat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Tracalpulli AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juan Estevan Mazuelas hit a great ball. When Tracalpulli AFC's Wilson Albarracin in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Renaico FC's goalie prevented a goal. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Inocente Requena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Tracalpulli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Rouse. Xosé Lattapiat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Omar Peluchonneau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xosé Lattapiat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Peluchonneau having to interfere. Juan Estevan Mazuelas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Tracalpulli AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Godofredo Ibarbia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Inocente Requena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xosé Lattapiat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Peluchonneau having to interfere. In the 31st minute Godofredo Ibarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Peluchonneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tracalpulli AFC's Lautaro Falabella got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Maximiliano Asencio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Peluchonneau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Tracalpulli AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Ibarbia made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Godofredo Ibarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Peluchonneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tracalpulli AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Xaiver Blest hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Renaico FC's Maximiliano Asencio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Peluchonneau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Renaico FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Tracalpulli AFC's Esteban José Fehrmann got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Godofredo Ibarbia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Xosé Lattapiat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renaico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xosé Lattapiat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Peluchonneau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Estevan Mazuelas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Wilson Albarracin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. José Julio Fraga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Julio Fraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocente Requena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Albarracin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Julio Fraga having to interfere. When Godofredo Ibarbia came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Renaico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Ibarbia couldn't finish the play. Wilson Albarracin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Julio Fraga having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tracalpulli AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
