Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chollay FC's Rogerio Otaola started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ondino Arens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogerio Otaola in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Angelillo Araujo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chollay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelillo Araujo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ondino Arens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anastasio Andueza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Fanta in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Silvio Fanta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Andueza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Tangue FC got a freekick which was hit by Pacífico Lagunas. Calixto Parant, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If José Alberto Zegarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rogerio Otaola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Francisco Ignacio Maffet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvio Fanta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogerio Otaola in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ondino Arens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Rogerio Otaola made a precise shot to the right of Ondino Arens. Tangue FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Fanta in the 60th minute of play forced Chollay FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Andueza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, José Alberto Zegarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tangue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Alberto Zegarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 minutes, Francisco Ignacio Maffet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chollay FC and the Tangue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvio Fanta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Tangue FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Rogerio Otaola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Nolibuat kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ondino Arens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelillo Araujo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Tangue FC's zone, Angelillo Araujo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ondino Arens came out of the goal and Angelillo Araujo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tangue FC's José Alberto Zegarra got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Andueza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Fanta, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chollay FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tangue FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
