With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogerio Otaola in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Parrasia saved Poblacion FC from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Angelillo Araujo made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Parrasia. Poblacion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogerio Otaola in the 20th minute of play forced Poblacion FC's goalkeeper Tomás Parrasia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Parrasia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelillo Araujo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chollay FC's zone, Modestio Parada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Andueza came out of the goal and Modestio Parada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Casimír Aldunate fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chollay FC's protests and gave Casimír Aldunate a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Chollay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimír Aldunate to maneuver through the defense. Mannuel Rosselot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Anastasio Andueza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Modestio Parada made the kick off in the second half. Angelillo Araujo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelillo Araujo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Parrasia having to interfere. Anastasio Andueza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anastasio Andueza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modestio Parada, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
