An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Alberto Schlegel in the 6th minute of play forced Maravilla FC's goalkeeper Saturnín Duguid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Alberto Schlegel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Saturnín Duguid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Regino Chopitea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maravilla FC's Saturnín Duguid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Maravilla FC from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes, Naelio Arévalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla FC and the Curico-19 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saturnín Duguid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Schlegel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Alberto Schlegel during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Curico-19 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Alberto Schlegel to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Baraquiel Ojeda hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Mario Alberto Schlegel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 82ndth minute of the game Mario Alberto Schlegel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla FC's Saturnín Duguid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zelipe Baltra's late challenge caught a Maravilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curico-19's Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Curico-19 from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Curico-19 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maravilla FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
