The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Gibson helped the player get up and apologised. Pietro Santelices charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remi Mowat was the one to do the kick off. Potrerillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manquimavida the free kick. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo's Rafael Pumaraboli got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Remi Mowat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romildo Ventura was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Potrerillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manquimavida's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
