Luis Calquín started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Alberto Ibarboure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quim Keuter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Calquín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Fernando Millán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Juan Fernando Millán made a precise shot to the right of Israel Quezada. Huasco AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cirilo Eyzaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Israel Quezada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Quezada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Fernando Millán in the 26th minute of play. Juan Fernando Millán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Quezada having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Cirilo Eyzaguirre put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Israel Quezada. In the 34th minute, Juan Alberto Delpín hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Calquín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quim Keuter made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Roy Sazie sent off a good shot on target. Roy Sazie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Quim Keuter made a huge save. Juliano Alegría hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Eyzaguirre to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Huasco AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aaron Justiniano hit a great ball. 0-3 became the score in the 54th minute when Cirilo Eyzaguirre elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Juliano Alegría hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Luis Calquín sped through Guanta FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quim Keuter. In the 60th minute, Raimundo Mann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huasco AFC's Israel Quezada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Eyzaguirre in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Sazie in the 67th minute of play forced Guanta FC's goalkeeper Quim Keuter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juliano Alegría hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Huasco AFC's Alberto Ibarboure broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Fernando Millán got free with Israel Quezada in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Alberto Delpín hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Guanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Calquín came free, but Quim Keuter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guanta FC's zone, Roy Sazie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quim Keuter came out of the goal and Roy Sazie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo Eyzaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Israel Quezada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Huasco AFC's zone, Juliano Alegría stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Quezada came out of the goal and Juliano Alegría tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Guanta FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huasco AFC:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Huasco AFC. Alberto Ibarboure stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Quim Keuter. 2-3. The Huasco AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guanta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guanta FC.
