Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Magdaleno Zelada got the match started through his kick off. Carmelo Frontaura struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Maurino Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huequecura. After a rather tough play, Huequecura's Magdaleno Zelada got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magdaleno Zelada in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Torres saved Puquios from getting behind. Huequecura's Rogelio Carmona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Bernales in the 14th minute of play. Puquios's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Magdaleno Zelada 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 22 played minutes Huequecura got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Nieto. Hilario Siña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rogelio Carmona. Huequecura's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 29th minute, Patricio Serrano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Patricio Serrano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Magdaleno Zelada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Serrano to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Carmelo Frontaura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Puquios's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Frontaura came free, but Maurino Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute of the match, Albert Bernales got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogelio Carmona was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Magdaleno Zelada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Bernales who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Rogelio Carmona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Huequecura's Carmelo Frontaura got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magdaleno Zelada might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurino Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magdaleno Zelada ran back to his position shaking his head.
