Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Huequecura's Magdaleno Zelada started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magdaleno Zelada in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quim Keuter saved Guanta FC from getting behind. Huequecura's Carmelo Frontaura got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Guanta FC booed when Huequecura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Nieto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magdaleno Zelada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quim Keuter having to interfere. When Victoro Santander fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huequecura's protests and gave Victoro Santander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guanta FC booed when Huequecura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoro Santander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Cirilo Eyzaguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magdaleno Zelada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Quim Keuter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quim Keuter came out of the goal and Carmelo Frontaura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Frontaura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Huequecura's Carmelo Frontaura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quim Keuter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Eyzaguirre to make the kick off. Guanta FC's Quim Keuter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magdaleno Zelada in the 51st minute of play. Carmelo Frontaura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Huequecura's Quim Keuter threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Magdaleno Zelada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juliano Alegría kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guanta FC's zone, Carmelo Frontaura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Magdaleno Zelada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huequecura's supporters rose to their feet, but Magdaleno Zelada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
