Clemente Oyaneder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Manuel Isasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Madeo Ross fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copatanca AFC's protests and gave Madeo Ross a yellow card for diving instead. Abelardo Egaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Clemente Oyaneder made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Fresia AFC's Carlos Manuel Isasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fresia AFC's Filomeno Bascur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Nancupel in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Nancupel in the 20th minute of play forced Fresia AFC's goalkeeper Filomeno Bascur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Egaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Clemente Oyaneder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Copatanca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Armenta to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Carlos Manuel Isasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fresia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Manuel Isasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Oyaneder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Fresia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Nancupel came free, but Filomeno Bascur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Manuel Isasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Oyaneder having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Carlos Manuel Isasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fresia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Manuel Isasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Copatanca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Aballay to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Manuel Isasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Fresia AFC's Clemente Oyaneder threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Manuel Isasa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 44th minute, Guntademaro Daudet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abelardo Egaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Carlos Manuel Isasa made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Madeo Ross in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Bascur saved Fresia AFC from getting behind. After having played for 64 minutes, Abelardo Egaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fresia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Egaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Oyaneder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Manuel Isasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Abelardo Egaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Oyaneder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. If Abelardo Egaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Andolín Edwards was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fresia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copatanca AFC the free kick. The supporters of Copatanca AFC booed when Fresia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andolín Edwards didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Copatanca AFC's Germán Aballay got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Carlos Manuel Isasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copatanca AFC's Clemente Oyaneder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Abelardo Egaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Germán Aballay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
