The supporters of Pudeto booed when Pacumina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ofelio Le Fort didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pudeto fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Pudeto's Oliverio Iglesias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pudeto's Jonathan Salin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pudeto from getting a goal against them. Carlos Alberto Aburto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jonathan Salin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Salin was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Carlos Alberto Aburto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Alberto Aburto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After having played for 28 minutes, Ofelio Araya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pudeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ofelio Araya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliverio Iglesias got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cristofer Didier handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Mario Alberto Guardia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Aburto in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Salin saved Pudeto from getting behind. Carlos Alberto Aburto might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Salin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Alberto Aburto ran back to his position shaking his head.

In the 59th minute, Carlos Alberto Aburto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Salin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 66th minute, Juan Van Diest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon María Plata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pudeto's goalkeeper Jonathan Salin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mario Alberto Guardia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Salin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverio Iglesias in the 91st minute of play forced Pacumina's goalkeeper Cristofer Didier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Luis Rivadeneira hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
