In the 45th minute, Anacleto Maldonado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 70 played minutes, Antofazul Football Club's Odín Serón shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silviano Salin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Antofazul Football Club reached it. If Evelio Winkler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Schiappacasse in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silviano Salin saved Churigualla AFC from getting behind. Bruno Schiappacasse succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Silviano Salin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Winkler in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Antofazul Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Churigualla AFC.
