The crowd rose to their feet as Abanico's Israel Talavera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tancredo Chavarria. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the match, Omar Iribarren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tancredo Chavarria. Visviri FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Iribarren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by León Marty in the 38th minute of play forced Abanico's goalkeeper Fidelio Pfingsthorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Visviri FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tomasino Domimisse hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Abanico got a freekick which was hit by Teodovico Osorio. When Abanico's Israel Talavera in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Visviri FC's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomasino Domimisse made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Abanico's zone, Tomasino Domimisse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidelio Pfingsthorn came out of the goal and Tomasino Domimisse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abanico's Fidelio Pfingsthorn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Abanico from getting a goal against them. Fidelio Pfingsthorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasino Domimisse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tancredo Chavarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Talavera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Visviri FC's Tomasino Domimisse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fidelio Pfingsthorn. Fidelio Pfingsthorn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.
