The supporters of Visviri FC booed when Jahuel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Marileo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rafael Maria Ruz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Visviri FC's protests and gave Rafael Maria Ruz a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael Maria Ruz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Visviri FC's zone, Henrico Byers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience thought a goal was coming when León Marty got free with Ysidro Lazcano in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jahuel's Ysidro Lazcano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Jahuel from getting a goal against them. León Marty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ysidro Lazcano having to make a save. Raúl Olea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tancredo Chavarria having to interfere. Ysidro Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasino Domimisse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rutenio Soto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by León Marty in the 58th minute of play forced Jahuel's goalkeeper Ysidro Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Visviri FC's Tomasino Domimisse in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jahuel's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Tomasino Domimisse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Visviri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasino Domimisse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ysidro Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasino Domimisse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Fabio Palmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jahuel and the Visviri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabio Palmer hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
