The supporters of Camina booed when Pedernales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Segarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Velasco Marticorena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Cristóbal Allu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Tomás Meléndez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haroldo Camilo. That made the score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Adán Campo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camina's supporters rose to their feet, but Adán Campo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
