If David Israel Achurra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Zapiga AFC's Lorenzo Esquerra got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Haroldo Novoa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adam Raffo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rd match minute, Zapiga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Esquerra to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Esquivel got free with Adam Raffo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36thth minute of the game David Israel Achurra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chanchoquin's Jeremías Mouat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cirilo Esquivel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Adam Raffo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Novoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zapiga AFC's Valentín Paez got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haroldo Novoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Raffo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Cirilo Esquivel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Raffo having to interfere. Adam Raffo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidelio Pinuer in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zapiga AFC's zone, Haroldo Novoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Raffo came out of the goal and Haroldo Novoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Chanchoquin's Fidelio Pinuer in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zapiga AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Jeremías Mouat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentín Paez in the 85th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, David Israel Achurra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapiga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Israel Achurra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Chanchoquin's goalkeeper Jeremías Mouat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentín Paez.
