Aureliano Báez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeraldo Delgado having to interfere. A collision led to Alico getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Eleuterio Fanta hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caliboro FC's zone, Manuel Klickmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Archibaldo Pérez came out of the goal and Manuel Klickmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Telmo Felip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Alico's corner Aristeo Camiña fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Archibaldo Pérez quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Caliboro FC booed when Alico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marín Argo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Klickmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Archibaldo Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Alico got a freekick which was hit by Aristeo Camiña. Caliboro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Calixto Echazarreta in the 50th minute. Calixto Echazarreta made a great header on Caliboro FC's corner, it was just that Alico's Jeraldo Delgado managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jeraldo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Báez in the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Aureliano Báez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caliboro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Báez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeraldo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marín Argo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Archibaldo Pérez. Archibaldo Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Archibaldo Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marín Argo in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, one of Alico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alico. Alico:s Jeraldo Delgado showed great skill when he stopped Calixto Echazarreta:s penalty. In the 71st minute, Eleuterio Fanta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Caliboro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manuel Klickmann fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Archibaldo Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Fanta in the 77th minute of the match. If Marín Argo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 101st play minute Manuel Klickmann came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Archibaldo Pérez. 1-2.
