When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Severino Ascue took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maurilio Fournier to make any attempt to save it. Arnaldo Gundian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Contulmo FC's zone, Zacarías Giron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danél Anguita came out of the goal and Zacarías Giron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Antihuala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ascue came free, but Maurilio Fournier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alesandro Allende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Contulmo FC's Alesandro Allende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurilio Fournier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Contulmo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Schulz to maneuver through the defense. Zacarías Giron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danél Anguita having to interfere. Alesandro Allende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Maurilio Fournier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Gundian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danél Anguita having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Contulmo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutenio Adriazola to maneuver through the defense. Danél Anguita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarías Giron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antihuala FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafín Guzmán in the 35th minute. Serafín Guzmán made a great header on Antihuala FC's corner, it was just that Contulmo FC's Danél Anguita managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnaldo Gundian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Antihuala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ascue came free, but Maurilio Fournier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoro Alegre kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Severino Ascue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Fournier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosalio Larrauna's late challenge caught a Contulmo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosalio Larrauna helped the player get up and apologised. Contulmo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eusebio Schulz in the 46th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gustavo Schele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maurilio Fournier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ascue in the 52nd minute of play forced Antihuala FC's goalkeeper Maurilio Fournier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danél Anguita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Gundian, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Antihuala FC's Serafín Guzmán got a free kick in the 61st minute. Alesandro Allende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Antihuala FC's zone, Severino Ascue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurilio Fournier came out of the goal and Severino Ascue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Antihuala FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Xabier Galleguillos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Antihuala FC's Xabier Galleguillos got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ascue in the 69th minute of play forced Antihuala FC's goalkeeper Maurilio Fournier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 71st minute of the match Rosalio Larrauna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rosalio Larrauna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rosalio Larrauna kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Eusebio Schulz, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Alesandro Allende who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antihuala FC's Maurilio Fournier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Antihuala FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Xabier Galleguillos hit a great ball. After 76th play minutes Severino Ascue shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Maurilio Fournier and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 79th minute Alesandro Allende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Fournier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Contulmo FC's goalkeeper Danél Anguita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarías Giron. After some careless play in the Contulmo FC defense, Zacarías Giron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danél Anguita. The Contulmo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danél Anguita should have stopped the shot. Antihuala FC's Maurilio Fournier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Ascue in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Antihuala FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Contulmo FC.
