Eulalio Alvar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Héctor Verdejo's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Erasmo Muguertegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Muguertegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Val Turres came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Manao FC's Paulín Zañartu. But to his dismay, Paulín Zañartu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Erasmo Muguertegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Muguertegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Muguertegui in the 25th minute of play forced Canelo FC's goalkeeper Val Turres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Muguertegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Val Turres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oriol De la Barra hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Paulín Zañartu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erasmo Muguertegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Paulín Zañartu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Val Turres was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulín Zañartu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Canelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Daughters. Paulín Zañartu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Val Turres having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Héctor Verdejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Alvar was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Erasmo Muguertegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Val Turres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Paulín Zañartu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulín Zañartu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Val Turres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Muguertegui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Val Turres made a huge save. Canelo FC's Héctor Verdejo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Héctor Verdejo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eulalio Alvar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Canelo FC's Val Turres got control of the ball when Eloi Zunino tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Paulín Zañartu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manao FC's Eulalio Alvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Verdejo in the 90th minute of play. If Erasmo Muguertegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
