After a defensive mix-up in Lipita AFC's zone, Demetrio Christie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Lisboa came out of the goal and Demetrio Christie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Alfonso Irisarri in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Rutenio Arriaran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Lisboa skillfully saved the ball. In the 77th match minute, Lipita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Llaullau to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lipita AFC's Pepe Chao got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes in the game Mónico Delporte got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Christie got free with Matias Lisboa in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demetrio Christie struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Matias Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estancilla FC.
