Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lazo AFC's Anacleto Infantas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hipolito Leyton acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Renato Tullet. 5 minutes into the game, Igon Chadwick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Folilco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lazo AFC the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Folilco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igon Chadwick to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Modesto Pantaleon notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lazo AFC's Hipolito Leyton. Hipolito Leyton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octavio Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Pasenau in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Modesto Pantaleon notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lazo AFC's Hipolito Leyton. Hipolito Leyton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Lazo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavián Mackenney came free, but Hipolito Leyton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jose Pasenau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Xavián Mackenney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xavián Mackenney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Leyton having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Lazo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavián Mackenney came free, but Hipolito Leyton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lazo AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Leyton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavián Mackenney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Xavián Mackenney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Leyton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Jose Pasenau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Pasenau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Pantaleon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hipolito Leyton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Leyton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavián Mackenney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavián Mackenney in the 65th minute of play forced Lazo AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Leyton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavián Mackenney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Leyton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niguel Baros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Pasenau struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Octavio Allison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazo AFC. Modesto Pantaleon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Pantaleon struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hipolito Leyton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Folilco. Hipolito Leyton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Pantaleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Fiamenghi during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, one of Lazo AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lazo AFC. Lazo AFC:s Hipolito Leyton showed great skill when he stopped Conrado Izaga:s penalty. In the 88th minute, Conrado Izaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Leyton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Modesto Pantaleon came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Folilco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Pantaleon couldn't finish the play. In the 97th match minute, Folilco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niguel Baros to maneuver through the defense. If Jose Pasenau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folilco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
