Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Javier Astete started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rainerio Villota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Javier Astete, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Solabarrieta in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcís Del Real prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rainerio Villota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Javier Astete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Javier Astete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rainerio Villota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Solabarrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcís Del Real having to interfere. A collision led to Ocacucho getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fernán Ripamonti hit a great ball. Ocacucho's Rainerio Villota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Langdon in the 25th minute of play. Justino Dechent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainerio Villota having to interfere. Rainerio Villota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Javier Astete in the 39th minute of play. Ocacucho's Rainerio Villota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Javier Astete in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Poconchile's zone, Arnaldo Abasolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcís Del Real came out of the goal and Arnaldo Abasolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Narcís Del Real made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme White in the 57th minute of play. When Justino Dechent came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Poconchile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Dechent couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ocacucho's zone, Justino Dechent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainerio Villota came out of the goal and Justino Dechent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Abasolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Narcís Del Real tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme White in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcís Del Real saved Poconchile from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Arnaldo Abasolo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustacio Maturana hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ocacucho's Cristián Camiña tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ocacucho's Rainerio Villota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Javier Astete in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Ocacucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víctor Javier Verschueren to maneuver through the defense. Poconchile's Francisco Javier Astete got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Teodosio Langdon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Ocacucho's Cristián Camiña in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
