In the 15th minute, Xavier Roco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL CREADOR FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Elodio Bulnes fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagbara AFC's protests and gave Elodio Bulnes a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Sagbara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elodio Bulnes. With his leg Lino Marfan managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Sagbara AFC's Joel Orostegui fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elodio Bulnes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sagbara AFC's Renato Cavareda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Roco in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, EL CREADOR FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Orostegui came free, but Lino Marfan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sagbara AFC booed when EL CREADOR FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Roco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Elodio Bulnes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 52nd minute Josué Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Cavareda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, EL CREADOR FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Orostegui came free, but Lino Marfan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Christian Saldés mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL CREADOR FC. and the Sagbara AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, EL CREADOR FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Saldés to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Faustino Zamudio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demetrio Portusagasti during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Sagbara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Portusagasti. After some careless play in the EL CREADOR FC. defense, Joel Orostegui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Marfan. The EL CREADOR FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Marfan should have stopped the shot. Renato Cavareda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Roco in the 76th minute of play. Guntademaro Gorigoytía came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Renato Cavareda could save by the left post. A collision led to Sagbara AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vincente Biggs hit a great ball.
