Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) CDU Católica's Tauro Fontecilla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Floydianos's Laurín Vicentens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Floydianos from getting a goal against them. Salamón Del Fierro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madeo Benoit in the 5th minute of play. Tauro Fontecillas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Laurín Vicentens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tauro Fontecilla sped through Floydianos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laurín Vicentens. CDU Católica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristóbal Lataste in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Floydianos got a freekick which was hit by Madeo Benoit. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tauro Fontecilla in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurín Vicentens saved Floydianos from getting behind. Salamón Del Fierro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madeo Benoit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Best Kid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floydianos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Best Kid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abel Lavandero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Lavandero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salamón Del Fierro having to interfere. Tauro Fontecilla's late challenge caught a Floydianos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tauro Fontecilla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, CDU Católica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tauro Fontecilla to maneuver through the defense. Ireno Bacquet hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Best Kid to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes CDU Católica got a freekick which was hit by Tauro Fontecilla. Silviano Green hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Laurín Vicentens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tauro Fontecilla's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Salamón Del Fierro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madeo Benoit in the 66th minute of play. When CDU Católica's Tauro Fontecilla in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floydianos's goalie prevented a goal. Salamón Del Fierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Francisco Bertrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Floydianos's Conrado Casos was substituted for Abel Lavandero. In the 75th minute, Justino Mario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurín Vicentens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tauro Fontecilla's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The corner led CDU Católica's Cristóbal Lataste to fire away a dangerous shot which Laurín Vicentens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Floydianos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóbal Lataste came free, but Laurín Vicentens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Conrado Casos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salamón Del Fierro. CDU Católica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Casos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 96th minute of the match Floydianos got a corner. CDU Católica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viviano Alemparte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
