The supporters of Commanda AFC booed when Aberdeen F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jere Harrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Jean Sylvester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Latham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Commanda AFC's Jean Sylvester got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the last second Romain McNeal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ivory McKenna in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Craig Latham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Sylvester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Sykes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Romain McNeal made a huge save. Aberdeen F.C.'s Ivory McKenna got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
