Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Salvador Earl kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Terence Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taloyoak FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Terence Wise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kris McCormick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Lothaire Pepper took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Swenson to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Taloyoak FC booed when Troy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cory Querry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terence Wise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kris McCormick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Les Velazquez got free with Pedro Swenson in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Taloyoak FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lothaire Pepper came free, but Pedro Swenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terence Wise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Les Velazquezs short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Pedro Swenson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kris McCormick came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Taloyoak FC's Salvador Earl. But to his dismay, Salvador Earl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Taloyoak FC booed when Troy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cory Querry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kris McCormick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Earl, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes, Salvador Earl made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Troy's Kris McCormick tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cory Querry hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Troy's zone, Salvador Earl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kris McCormick came out of the goal and Salvador Earl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Swenson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Les Velazquez went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 54 played minutes Troy got a freekick which was hit by Christophe Jernigan. Les Velazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pedro Swenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Shaw's late challenge caught a Troy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Shaw helped the player get up and apologised. Terence Wise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Salvador Earl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kris McCormick. Salvador Earl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. When Long Crow fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taloyoak FC's protests and gave Long Crow a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Taloyoak FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Long Crow hit a great ball. Taloyoak FC's Pedro Swenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Les Velazquez in the 91st minute of play. A hard shot 94 in the game by Terence Wise from a close distance when the talented Kris McCormick managed to make a qualified save. Troy's players were relieved. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Taloyoak FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
