When Angel Worley came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Steele AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Worley couldn't finish the play. Angel Worley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Baca having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Steele AFC's Bastien Pelletier got a free kick in the 11th minute. Keenan Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Ted Ivy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Worley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Baca having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Steele AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Pelletier. When Alfonso Shapiro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Hope fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Shapiro couldn't finish the play. Angel Worley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Baca having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Angel Worley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steele AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Worley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Baca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Worley in the 32nd minute of play forced Hope's goalkeeper Sebastian Baca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Baca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Ivy in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Worley in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Baca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Shapiro got free with Bryce Prather in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Shapiro took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryce Prather. Bryce Prather dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Alfonso Shapiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keenan Alfaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Steele AFC's Ted Ivy got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfonso Shapiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Keenan Alfaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryce Prather saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Guillermo Bond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steele AFC and the Hope players grew even worse after the yellow card. Keenan Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryce Prather having to interfere. Sebastian Baca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Ivy in the 74th minute. 2-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Keenan Alfaro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Steele AFC's Ted Ivy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Baca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ted Ivy struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Sebastian Baca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steele AFC. Keenan Alfaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryce Prather. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keenan Alfaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Shapiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bryce Prather having to make a save. If Angel Worley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Worley struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Sebastian Baca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steele AFC.
