With his leg Otha Braden managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when BLUE MACHINE's Derek Carrillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 4thth minute of the game Armando Watkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brancepeth AFC's Otha Braden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giovanni Cisneros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodore Pulliam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrell Christopher in the 14th minute of play forced BLUE MACHINE's goalkeeper Dewayne Bowen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 15 in the game by Reynaldo Esparza from a close distance when the talented Otha Braden managed to make a qualified save. Brancepeth AFC's players were relieved. In the 16th match minute, BLUE MACHINE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodore Pulliam to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brancepeth AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jean Norris hit a great ball. Otha Braden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Watkins in the 25th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Giovanni Cisneros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otha Braden. Brancepeth AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni Cisneros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Otha Braden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Watkins's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Theodore Pulliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Cisneros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Otha Braden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Giovanni Cisneross short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Otha Braden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Armando Watkins took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Otha Braden to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

53 minutes into the match, Armando Watkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otha Braden. Brancepeth AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Watkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Theodore Pulliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Otha Braden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Watkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otha Braden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Carrillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When BLUE MACHINE's Armando Watkins in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brancepeth AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute, Theodore Pulliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, BLUE MACHINE's Theodore Pulliam got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Armando Watkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Esparza in the 75th minute of play forced Brancepeth AFC's goalkeeper Otha Braden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Giovanni Cisneros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When BLUE MACHINE's Derek Carrillo in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brancepeth AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brancepeth AFC's zone, Reynaldo Esparza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otha Braden came out of the goal and Reynaldo Esparza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Derek Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLUE MACHINE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derek Carrillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brancepeth AFC's Otha Braden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Watkins in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Brancepeth AFC booed when BLUE MACHINE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronnie Evans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brancepeth AFC's Lou Westbrook got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dewayne Bowen made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Mitchel Smith sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the BLUE MACHINE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
