Augustine Bondy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sturgis FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micheal Koch in the 87th minute of play forced Coulter FC's goalkeeper Augustine Bondy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustine Bondy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kermit Lyons, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ellis Odell's late challenge caught a Sturgis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ellis Odell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Ellis Odell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jamal Polk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Sylvain Glover made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coulter FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sturgis FC.
