Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baudouin Short took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jarrod Kendall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Murphy having to make a save. Baudouin Short sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Riquier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Thomas in the 16th minute of play forced Chimo's goalkeeper Francis Riquier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarrod Kendall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baudouin Short scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Murphy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francis Riquier was a little too slow when Jimmy Thomas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. If Jarrod Kendall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Murphy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baudouin Short, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jimmy Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jimmy Thomas made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Murphy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baudouin Short, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baudouin Short sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jimmy Thomas came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Kirriemuir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Thomas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chimo booed when Kirriemuir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklyn Barrette didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brian Gaillou came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Chimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Gaillou couldn't finish the play. Roberto Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baudouin Short in the 75th minute of the match. Baudouin Short sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrod Kendall's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roberto Murphy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Chimo were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Kirriemuir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Gaillou took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Brian Gaillou got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Murphy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roberto Murphy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baudouin Short, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Jarrod Kendall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baudouin Short received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Roberto Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baudouin Short had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Chimo's Baudouin Short sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Murphy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimmy Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Francis Riquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarrod Kendall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Murphy having to interfere. The Kirriemuir fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chimo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
