Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leon Davenport started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Davenport in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renato Hamlin saved Nominingue from getting behind. Quentin Belanger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Santo Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind McKague's goalkeeper Santo Butcher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santo Butcher was a little too slow when Alden Foreman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th minute, Alden Foreman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santo Butcher, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Leon Davenport managed to get in a good position for a shot. McKague's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Davenport was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Hamlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Butcher made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Quentin Belanger sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 20 minutes, Quentin Belanger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nominingue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Belanger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Alden Foreman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin Belangers short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Santo Butcher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Quentin Belanger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Butcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Ted Sloan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alden Foreman made the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Atwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Renato Hamlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Davenport received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Renato Hamlin came out of the goal and Leon Davenport tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burl Covillon during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renato Hamlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Atwood in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the McKague defense, Quentin Belanger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Butcher. The McKague fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Butcher should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute of the match, Leon Davenport tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renato Hamlin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alden Foreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alden Foreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Belanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Butcher having to interfere. Santo Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alden Foreman, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nominingue fans cheered their team off the field, for while McKague had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
