Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, one of Wingard:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wingard. Ismael Weber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Santo Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Davenport sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Leon Davenport hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darrin LeBatelier took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Butcher. Santo Butcher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 25th minute Darrin LeBatelier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Hope during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Wingard getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Emmanuel Hope hit a great ball. Leon Davenport's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Beverly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If Ismael Weber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Darrin LeBatelier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wingard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darrin LeBatelier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Thomson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Santo Butcher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wingard. A collision led to McKague getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Séverin Bagley hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Felipe Thomson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wingard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave McKague the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wingard's Felipe Thomson got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Weber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Beverly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Davenport, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darrin LeBatelier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Gustavo Atwood notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wingard's Alvaro Beverly. Alvaro Beverly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 67 minutes, Darrin LeBatelier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ismael Weber scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Butcher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Beverly was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ward Grove. Leon Davenport recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wingard had played much better football throughout.
