In the 9th minute Hershel Toth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jed McDaniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jude Hyde kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Broadlands AFC's Hershel Toth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jed McDaniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rosetown FC's Jed McDaniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hershel Toth in the 14th minute of play. Eustache Loomis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jed McDaniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanton Rose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Rhodes having to interfere. In the 20th minute Granville Richards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Broadlands AFC's Shaun Rhodes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Broadlands AFC from getting a goal against them. Buddy McCloud kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosetown FC's goalkeeper Jed McDaniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustache Loomis in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jed McDaniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the game, Broadlands AFC's Hershel Toth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jed McDaniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Eustache Loomis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broadlands AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustache Loomis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jed McDaniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Léopold Marseau's late challenge caught a Broadlands AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léopold Marseau helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rosetown FC's Léopold Marseau got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hershel Toth was the one to do the kick off. Randolph Howard charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randolph Howard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Broadlands AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randolph Howard to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes, Rosetown FC's Buddy McCloud shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shaun Rhodes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosetown FC reached it. Daron Ambrose hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Buddy McCloud, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Granville Richards struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Shaun Rhodes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosetown FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanton Rose in the 66th minute of play forced Broadlands AFC's goalkeeper Shaun Rhodes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hoyt McClendon struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Shaun Rhodes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosetown FC.
