Hubert Grandpré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 7 minutes, Ulrich Schroeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midhurst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrich Schroeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Garfield McDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donnie Key was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Midhurst's Keenan Scales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donnie Key narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stacey Arellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Duran having to interfere. Shemogue AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Garfield McDonald scored to the left of an out of position Donnie Key, making the score, 1-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Ulrich Schroeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midhurst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrich Schroeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Garfield McDonald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shemogue AFC's Donnie Key was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Garfield McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garfield McDonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donnie Key. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garfield McDonald ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Shemogue AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hubert Grandpré hit a great ball. Fredric Duran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stacey Arellano's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stacey Arellano in the 45th minute of play forced Midhurst's goalkeeper Fredric Duran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Stacey Arellano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredric Duran having to make a save. If Raymundo McDonough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Shemogue AFC's Fredric Duran threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stacey Arellano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute, Keenan Scales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stacey Arellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Midhurst's Fredric Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacey Arellano in the 63rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stacey Arellano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fredric Duran. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. Ulrich Schroeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Donnie Key tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hubert Grandpré kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymundo McDonough got free with Fredric Duran in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes Shemogue AFC got a freekick which was hit by Étienne Maddox. Antoine Carrington hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Raymundo McDonough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keenan Scales kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
