Garfield McDonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 曲真伟. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garfield McDonald ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, Régis Currie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toronto Belediyespor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Midhurst the free kick. Régis Currie hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Toronto Belediyespor got a freekick which was hit by Gary Lloyd. A long shot from Pablo Picard in the 25th minute of play was well struck, but 曲真伟 made a really good save at the right post. When Ntinos Katopodis fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toronto Belediyespor's protests and gave Ntinos Katopodis a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Toronto Belediyespor got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Katopodis. Irving Barrière kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 曲真伟 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garfield McDonald in the 34th minute of the match. Andres Miranda hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Régis Currie struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fredric Duran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toronto Belediyespor. Midhurst's Mel Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After a rather tough play, Midhurst's Galen Baldwin got a free kick in the 58th minute. Toronto Belediyespor's 曲真伟 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrich Schroeder in the 60th minute of play. Fredric Duran made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Irving Barrière sent off a good shot on target. The Midhurst manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Toronto Belediyespor to win.
