Ian Boles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issac Wiggins having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donte Amos in the 26th minute of play forced Surprise FC's goalkeeper Issac Wiggins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilles Gardner kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Western Armenia's Anthon Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Sizemore in the 31st minute of play. If Donte Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donte Amos in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 42 played minutes, Western Armenia's Cordell Lamare shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Issac Wiggins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Western Armenia reached it. Surprise FC's Issac Wiggins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donte Amos in the 43rd minute of play. Damian Varner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Issac Wiggins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Donte Amos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Surprise FC's Issac Wiggins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Varner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issac Wiggins having to interfere. The Surprise FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Western Armenia were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donte Amos to make the kick off. Malik Lane's late challenge caught a Western Armenia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malik Lane helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Surprise FC's Malik Lane got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Surprise FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Kenny to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Surprise FC's goalkeeper Issac Wiggins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donte Amos. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donte Amos couldn't finish the play. When Williams Ruiz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Western Armenia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Williams Ruiz couldn't finish the play. If Donte Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donte Amos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Issac Wiggins skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeff Charpie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Alberto Sizemore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Issac Wiggins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donte Amos in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Donte Amos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Surprise FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damian Varner was slow to take the kick. During this time Western Armenia's players had a chance to rest. In the 96th match minute, Western Armenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Rosas to maneuver through the defense. Western Armenia played a much better game than Surprise FC and deserved their victory. The Surprise FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
